Full professor in the School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She completed her post-doctoral studies at the University of Chicago. She served as a visiting researcher in the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. She is in charge of access to higher education for the Arab population at the Hebrew University and serves as chair of the Steering Committee for the Establishment of a Diversity Policy for the Hebrew University. She has been a member of the Israel Young Academy since 2016 and in 2017 became a member of the Global Young Academy. Her areas of research are school violence, juvenile delinquency, cyberbullying, and parental rules of discipline. Prof. Khoury-Kassabri holds a PhD degree from the School of Social Work at the Hebrew University, received in 2002.
