Professor in the Department of Psychology at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His main research interests are automaticity in psychological processes; acquisition of cognitive skill with particular reference to reading, numerical cognition, bilingualism and conscious processes; and, methodology and statistics in psychological research. Prof. Tzelgov received his Ph.D. in psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1981.
