Prof. Charles Greenbaum
James Marshall Professor (emeritus) of Social Psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He heads the Harris Center for Early Education and Development and was the former director of the Levin Center for the Normal and Psychopathological Development of the Child and Adolescent, both at the University. He serves as chairman of the board of directors of Defence for Children International-Israel. His main areas of research are social development; children at risk; children's rights, child adoption; and, social policy.Prof. Greenbaum received his Ph.D in psychology in 1963 from New York University.
