Senior teacher of child-clinical psychology in the School of Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her main areas of research interest are; parental development – self-regulation and reflectivity; quality of adaptation among children with developmental disabilities: the effect of traumatic events on parenting and parent-child relations; play and trauma; and the treatment and prevention of PTSD in young children. Dr. Cohen received her Ph.D. in psychology from the Michigan State University in 1973.
