Faculty member in the Department of Public Policy at Tel Aviv University and a researcher in the Israel Democracy Institute’s Ultra-Orthodox Program. Her research concerns ultra-Orthodox society and mainly addresses questions of poverty, identity, and relations with larger Israeli society. Previously, she initiated the new history curriculum for ultra-Orthodox schools.

Dr. Yaffe holds a PhD degree in political psychology from the Hebrew University, received in 2018. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University's Daniel Kahneman Center of Behavioral Science and Public Policy and the University Center for Human Values.
