Taught biology in Jerusalem schools; founded and directed the National Center of Biology Teachers, a joint venture of the Hebrew University and the Ministry of Education; directed the Mandel School for Educational Leadership graduate. Served as a member of the Ministry of Education’s subject and curriculum committees for biology, science and technology, and committees addressing the topic of teachers.
