Professor of educational psychology at the University of Haifa where he headed the Faculty of Education's doctoral committee from 1999–2000 and served as the University's Dean of Research from 2001 to 2005. He is the founder and director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Emotion and scientific director of the Laboratory for Intercultural Research on Personality and Emotion. His research focuses on personality, intelligence, interpersonal differences, and psycho-educational assessment. Prof. Zeidner earned his Ph.D. in educational psychology from the Hebrew University in 1984.
