Ph.D Anat Ben-Simon

Bio sketch:
Senior research scientist at the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE) where she directs the Department of Special Projects, and lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Among the projects she directed at NITE are: The development of MATAL, a computerized battery of tests for the diagnosis of learning disabilities among students in higher education; construction of achievement tests examining reading and writing skill acquisition for grades 1 and 2; construction of GEMS – the Growth and Efficiency Measures for Schools; construction of "MICHAL" which assesses learning skills; and, the nationwide school system feedback project. Dr. Ben-Simon received her Ph.D. in psychology (specializing in psychometrics) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1992.
