Bio sketch: Head
of the Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder Unit at the Baruch
Ivcher School of Psychology at IDC Herzliya.
Her
research focuses on developing prevention and intervention programs aiming to
enhance interpersonal/social, emotional and academic functioning among
school-age children and adolescents with specific emphasis on students with SLD
and ADHD. In 2002, she established the Learning Disabilities Clinic at Schneider's
Children Medical Center, and was the clinic director until 2012. In 2007 she
initiated and developed the “I Can Succeed” (ICS) program, run in collaboration
with the Ministry of Education and the National Insurance Institute. The
program is implemented nation-wide.
Dr.
Kopelman-Rubin is an expert educational psychologist and holds a Ph.D. degree
in psychology from Tel-Aviv University, received in 2005.
